Doug Sears
President & CEO

Doug Sears has over 40 years of experience in the food industry. Beginning his career as a buyer-merchandiser with A&P Tea Company in Albany, New York, and then Springfield, Massachusetts division. Prior to starting S&S Food Broker he was employed for 19 years with Upstate New York Brokers. Responsibilities included sales to supermarkets, C-store wholesalers, candy/tobacco distributors, and C-store groups.

Ed Lonczak
Chief Financial Officer

Ed Lonczak is responsible for the daily financial operations of our company.

Michael Sears
Vice President

Michael Sears lives in New Jersey, is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley and has many years of C-store and travel retail experience. He has worked the California market prior to moving to New Jersey and has been very successful

Christa Oderkirk
Director of Marketing & Brand Strategies

Christa Oderkirk lives in Western New York. She has a background in management, sales and marketing coupled with over 30 years of convenience store experience and product knowledge.

Brenda deBuono
Director of Travel & Higher Education

Brenda deBuono resides in Brooklyn, NY and brings to S&S 10+ years in retail buying. Her merchant experience is focused in the travel markets and she is an expert in marketing and promotions focused on the needs of commuters. She has managed national, regional and international markets and enjoys building compelling visual displays, analyzing data and closely monitoring evolving nutritional trends.

Tom Walker
Director of Sales

The Director of Sales, Tom Walker lives in Upstate, Central New York. Bringing with him a broad facet of sales and marketing management. In addition to an exceptional record of demonstrated sales ability. Tom has years of experience in product development, product displays, and changeovers.

Joe Faretta
Sales Manager

Joe Faretta lives in Pennsylvania and has over 20 years of experience in the convenience store industry both inside in operations and outside handling business development. He brings strong analytical and planning skills, along with proven ability to develop new business in his territory.

Patrick Corcoran
Sales Manager

Patrick lives in Pennsylvania and comes to us with experience from C-Store distribution, Travel retail and C-Store broker areas of our industry. He brings strong relationship building, promotion development, and data analysis.

Peter Buchas
Sales Manager

Peter Buchas lives in Eastern Upstate New York and brings to the company over 17 years of sales experience. Through the creation and development of strong customer relationships, he is heavily relied upon for customer guidance in category management.

Stephen Huneau
Sales Manager

Stephen Huneau was initially hired on to S&S as a Merchandiser, though through his energetic and quick understanding of the industry, he was promoted to Sales Manager. Since then, he has demonstrated an outstanding ability to develop and maintain wholesaler and retail sales relationships.

Steve Hayes
Sales Manager

Steve Hayes lives in New England and started his career in the industry as a Sales Manager for a New England distributor. Since joining S&S, Steve has used his many years of experience to develop lasting relationships, and to provide expertise to his customers.

Jordan Buchas
Retail Merchandiser

Jordan Buchas lives in Albany, NY and is a fresh young face, new to the c-store industry. We look forward to his strength and enthusiasm in doing rack installations and tradeshow setups.

Erin Vaughn
Director of Office Administration

Erin Vaughn lives in Upstate New York and joined our team in September of 2019. With a background in Marketing and Business Management, she is responsible for overseeing all internal day to day operations of the office and all special projects.

Joanna Nyenhuis
Office Administrator

Joanna Nyenhuis joined our team in February of 2020. Jo’s background is in office administrative work and she strives for perfection. Jo is tasked with day to day order processing and maintenance of the order processing system.

Kelly Sweet
Office Administrator

Kelly Sweet joined our team in November of 2014. Transitioning from 4 years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy, Kelly has extensive training and experience in maintaining account receivables/payables, and tracking databases.

Sara Roberts
Office Administrator

Sara Roberts joined our team in February of 2009. Bringing to S&S a wealth of knowledge and experience in office operations. In addition to her multi-faceted position, Sara assists in responding to manufacturer and customer questions, concerns and order processing.
